Engineered walnut floors

Engineered walnut flooring has many benefits over solid wood floors, most notably their stability. Due to its cross-plywood structure, it does not move around in the same way as solid wood.

Made using a top layer of hardwood bonded to a plywood base, our engineered walnut floors look no different to solid wood boards, but are a much greener choice as they allow wood from trees to go much further.

What's more, engineered boards do not expand and contract like solid wood, so they can be used with underfloor heating systems and even in high moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens. 

There are several ways to install our engineered walnut flooring, as they're suitable for floating on underlay or gluing directly to screed or floors. They can also be secretly nailed through the tongue and groove.

A range of finishes

Our walnut flooring is available in an almost limitless range of colours, sheens and finishes to meet your exact requirements, whether you're renovating a stylish apartment block or kitting out a brand new high street store.

Walnut floors can be finished with matt lacquer or wood oils depending on the look you desire. The Sapphire range of lacquered flooring is one of the toughest available and is ideal for high traffic retail environments.

We apply nine coats of Treffert lacquers to make the boards as durable and scratch resistant as possible, which means they'll look as good in 50 years time as they did when they were installed.

Out walnut boards come in sizes ranging from 150mm to 190mm in width and 900mm to 1860mm in length.
