Cleaning a brushed UV Oiled Floor: Thoroughly sweep and vacuum the floor.

Dilute 125m of intensive wood cleaner in 5L of water. Mop the floor to remove all dirt and residue trying NOT to over wet floor. Where dirt is ingrained in a brushed board remove by using a scrubbing brush and then re mop.

Leave floor to dry completely. This will take at least 8 hours even though it looks dry quite soon.

Work a small amount of paste (for a white floor use the white paste and the natural paste for a natural or darker coloured floor). into a lint free cloth (old T shirt is ideal) and work well into the boards very sparingly. This will give a more even and uniform coverage than applying paste directly to the boards and polishing in.

Only apply a small amount of paste to the floor (using a cloth) as applying too much will just leave the board sticky as the paste is NOT designed to soak into the boards.

If once the floor has been completely pasted there are dry spots (usually areas of very high wear and tear) then apply more paste as above to those areas only.

If a very matt finish is required buff using a cotton cloth.

Leave the floor to dry completely overnight. Do not expose to water for 48 hours.
