Using WOCA Pre Colour White & Extra White Colour Oil to make a white oak floor

Applying the Pre Colour White
Before applying the Pre Colour White to the floor, you must ensure the floor is well sanded, clean and dry. Shake the container and then pour the Pre Colour White into a bucket and stir it regularly in order to obtain a uniform result.

Apply the Pre Colour White in an even layer vertically onto the floor with a paint brush or roller for large areas. Use at least 1L of Pre Colour per 10m2. When the wood is dry, either clean with Wood Cleaner and leave to dry or alternatively use a green patina disk under a floor machine and subsequently vacuum clean the floor. The patina disked finish is the better of the two.

Applying WOCA Colour Oil Extra White
Shake the container well before and during application. Apply the oil in an even coat onto an area of approximately 15m2, with a short-haired paint roller. Let the floor absorb the oil for about 20 minutes, then work the oil into the wood with a beige polishing pad either manually or under a floor machine. Polish for approximately 15 minutes or until the floor appears saturated with oil.
There should be no excess oil on the floor, if there is any it can be easily removed with cloths, paper or scrape it into the next section of the floor to be oiled. Buff the floor with white polishing pads and with lint-free cotton cloths under the floor machine.
The floor is pre-hardened after 6 hours, at room temperature of 20 degrees C, and completely hardened after 72hours. If a higher saturated finish is required, the floor may be buffed with 100ml of Colour Oil per 10m2 of floor. Do NOT expose the floor to water during the hardening process.
