WOCA dark oak oiled flooring
WOCA Woodcare Denmark coloured oils can be used to create any dark oak flooring finish you require for your renovation projects, from rich Brazil brown to dramatic black.
Softwood lyes can be used to open up the grain of the oak and pull out the natural tannins to darken the wood. The colour can then be deepened using further coloured oil applications.
WOCA master oils penetrate the surface and harden the wood, offering long-lasting protection for high traffic areas while creating a beautiful, natural open pore look.
Developers working on the Eurostar project at St Pancras station chose WOCA-treated oak flooring because of its reputation for resilience, having kept Copenhagen Airport in Denmark looking great for the last 25 years.
