Parquet Hard Wood Flooring Oak and Walnut Hardwood ( Eazy Fit 100 )

PARQUET EAZY FIT Parquet Flooring system. These solid oak 8mm thick blocks should be glued down on large sheets of 18 to 20mm thick plywood subfloors. You can create any design including the traditional herringbone and chevron patterns shown below and can be mixed with the Walnut blocks to create colour variations especially in the other patterns.

Width: 70mm Square Edged
Thickness: 10mm Solid Oak
Length: 250mm Square Edge
Finish: Unfinished sanded to 120 grit
Applications: To be fitted on top of 18mm to 20mm thick high quality Plywood Subfloor use for traditional Herringbone Parquet

Gluing: Use the Bona R850 with comb to glue to plywood subfloor

The long border pieces 1250mm long are used to create individual layouts with borders around the pattern or can be cut if you want longer pieces than the standard sizes. They can also be used to create a border all around the edge of the room.

Below are some of the patterns that can be created but you can also design your own. Our EZYFIT Parquet System requires high quality plywood subfloors. The best way to achieve this is to fix large sheets of marine plywood to your subfloor. If it is joists then you should screw the plywood sheets to the joists or old floorboards do not use nails. If the subfloor is concrete you should seal the surface with a DPM (Bona R580 or Bona R410) to ensure that no moisture can penetrate the plywood base in the future and then glue the plywood sheets to the concrete using the Bona R850, this ensures that plywood sheets are firmly fixed and that each sheet will be level and totally flat. This is not a DIY option if you want the perfect parquet floor that will last a lifetime you should only employ professional fitters because the plywood floor that you will glue the parquet blocks to must be perfectly level with each sheet matching perfectly
