Parquet Wood Flooring for use with underfloor heating

Traditional Parquet wood flooring Eazy Fit for use with underfloor heating, herringbone, chevron in fact any design you like. This is our option if you do not want to wait for our prefinished parquet panels.

After extensive research we have developed what we feel is the perfect solution for the modern parquet floor.  We have three types of block 250mm x 70mm, or chevron block is 280mm x 90mm or 350mm x 90mm  and a border piece 1250mm x 90mm. The thickness is 8mm which is the optimum to use with underfloor heating. The blocks are all square edge and AB grade with no knots.

We first fix 18mm marine plywood to the subfloor or glue it down to an underfloor heating screed. The fitters can then make any design you wish by gluing the parquet pieces down on to the plywood , finishing with a light sanding as our blocks are finished to 120 grit and then oiling according to your requirements. 
 
We normally recommend oils or hard wax oils and with the coloured oils available from WOCA and Blanchon you can create any colour and finish you want from modern contemporary to old fashioned English.  Click here for some examples of different colours including WOCA light oak colours to Blanchon darker colours.

Some examples of patterns are set out below, however should you wish to have something very individual then our factory prefinished handmade panels would be a perfect solution with a 10 to 12 week lead time and made to you own design. These panels are tongue and groove all round and match our existing floor boards so you can also create you own border. You can also have a mix of colours in the same panel as well.
