for all our natural oiled boards. WOCA master oil treatment oils were the obvious choice for the very high traffic Eurostar project in St Pancreas which was opened by the Queen in November 2007. WOCA master oils were chosen because of the worldwide reputation of successfully treated high traffic projects including Copenhagen Airport , where nearly 20,000 square meters were laid and then treated with WOCA Master oils over 25 years ago. This has been maintained ever since with the WOCA oils, and the floor still looks magnificent.

Oak Flooring: Our high quality single plank prefinished and unfinished real solid and engineered oak flooring is one of the most popular options and we have over 30 products in our solid oak range and more than 100 in our oak engineered range. Most of our flooring is American White oak but we also supply European Oak. Our Smoke and Burnt oak flooring give a wide range of solutions, and our Oiled and Brushed solid oak boards add yet more. But please be aware that an Oak floor has a variety of grains, knots and natural colour variations.

Engineered Flooring: Solid wood floors can react by warping, cupping and twisting in certain damp environmental conditions this is why we supply top quality engineered wood flooring. Our Engineered floor prices are the most competitive in the market for the quality. We have over 100 different choices in our engineered wooden flooring range with the solid top layer being 5mm or 6mm and the boards, all single planks, are 20mm to 21mm thick and from 150mm to 340mm wide. We use a multiply board not the cheap sandwich of softwood, as the latter will not stand, in our view, the wear and impact that our engineered floors will. Antique Wooden Flooring: Our unique range of hand distressed solid and engineered oak boards which look like reclaimed flooring have taken the market by storm. These boards have been hand worked to look like a reclaimed oak floor board but in fact are new, using the latest finishes and techniques, and are a fraction of the price of reclaimed boards. They can be fitted easily and will look good for years. These boards can be used in any situation.

Walnut Flooring: Our Black American walnut flooring is one of the top quality products currently in the UK market. All our wood flooring comes from sustainable sources and our manufacturing facility has an FSC certificates for our oak, maple and walnut flooring. Walnut flooring adds another dimension to hardwood flooring options

Maple Flooring: Our hard maple flooring comes in both solid and engineered and we are very selective when choosing the boards to ensure that there is a minimum amount of knots and black streaks which can sometimes be very dominant in maple and can spoil the effect of a Maple floor and its warm colour and ambiance.

Fitting Wooden Floors: We can arrange fitting for engineered wood floors from �20/m2 solid wood floors, 18/m2 engineered, and �30/m2 plus herringbone. Prices will vary according to size, subfloor conditions, furniture in the room etc. These prices include door and architrave trimming for the floor to go under the door architrave. Also fixing scotias is included in the price along with kitchen plinths. We fit skirting from�5 per linear meter. Plywood fitting prices start from �5/m2. These fitting costs have been exclusively negotiated by The Solid Wood Flooring Company. Our fitting team has over 15 years experience and can fit up to 100 m2 per day.
