Engineered Fumed Chevron Blocks

Project: Engineered Fumed Chevron Blocks

Product Code TW-E934 (Not yet in full production so limited stock)

We were asked by a large international contractor where we are a preferred supplier to value engineer a chevron block for a large residential development in London. The size is 75mm wide x 350mm long, with edges that are slightly chipped and a surface that is made to look old. The fuming means the colour is all the way through the solid oak top layer.

These chevron blocks are accurately machined with left and right tongue and groove for easy installation where they can be fully bonded direct to a screed with underfloor heating. By using the latest natural oil called heavy duty UV plus we can ensure that the UV inhibitors in the oil prevent the sun from changing the colour too much unlike other oiled finished flooring.

These blocks are designed to enhance the ambience of old listed buildings where our floors have been approved by the Listing Office as alternatives to reclaimed timber which is in short supply and extremely expensive and not suitable to our current heated and air conditioned environments.

Please call to discuss your requirements and interior design ideas so we can help co-ordinate the whole concept.
