Slip Resistance, Grading & Type Testing

There is a growing requirement for low slip finishes on floor coverings.  Local authorities, developers and specifiers have a duty of care in relation to Health and Safety.  To assist you in specifying a suitable product, we have developed a commercial grade low slip UV Oiled finish.  This finish has been independently tested by SATRA Technology and has scored 45 PTV (Pendulum Test Value) in the wet and 60 PTV in the dry.

Additionally, in conjunction with Bona, we have developed a highly slip resistant lacquer finish for wood flooring. Again, this has been independently tested by SATRA; our lacquer finish scores 42 PTV in the wet and 66 PTV in the dry.

These finishes exceed the requirements even of installations in airports.  As they are commercial grade finishes, you can be confident that our flooring will perform optimally in museums, restaurants, bars, spas, offices and of course residential premises.  With our exacting processes and third-party testing and verification, we know our products will surpass the requirements extra stringent building regulations.
