Bespoke Parquet Panels
We offer a bespoke service for those looking for traditional or custom parquet designs. Our parquet panels are handmade to order. They come in set panels with tongue and groove edges or quick and simple installation on site. You can customise these as you wish, specifying the dimensions, wood material, colour and finish.
How they are made
All our parquet panels are engineered in construction, usually with a Birch ply backing layer. This makes them suitable for use with under floor heating. We laser cut the individual elements and set them (by hand) onto a Birch plywood base. This ensures precision manufacturing with hands-on fine detailing.
Depending on the design, we can usually make panels from 400x400mm to 1,000×1,000mm squares (some designs are rectangular in shape). If you have a specific size in mind, please contact us to discuss the options in more detail.
Our standard thickness is 15mm, usually made from a 4mm thick solid hardwood top layer (typically either Oak or Walnut) on an 11mm Birch-ply base. Other sizes are available, so please discuss any requirements with us.

Your Design.
In addition to the well-known traditional parquet patterns as shown below, we can also create your custom designs. For this, we will need detailed plans showing the individual element sizes.
Whether you’re having a completely unique panel design created or choose from timeless traditional designs, you can specify the timber type. Oak is by far the most popular choice and can be worked in so many different ways in terms of grading (knot content) and colouring.
Parquet panels can be supplied unfinished with a square edge (you would choose this option for your contractor to finish on site – particularly useful when aiming to match other colour tones in the premises). We can also apply stains and oils to the parquet to create the colour tone you want. All our finishes are commercial grade for hardness.
Given the complexity creating these products, we do not stock them. So please factor in a build time after a design has been approved. Typically speaking this is around 12-16wks as the process cannot (and should not) be rushed. There is also a minimum order requirement of 100m2.
