Impervia Vinyl Flooring For Bespoke Kitchen

Project: Impervia Vinyl Flooring For Bespoke Kitchen

Client: The Wood Works

The Wood Works approached us looking for flooring to compliment their amazing bespoke kitchens. The flooring had to echo the quality of their products and services whilst being easy to maintain. A water-proof and fire resistant product was ideal given the setting the flooring would be used in. Our Impervia herringbone parquet was a brilliant solution for them. Not only is Impervia far more simple to lay than wooden alternatives but also more cost-effective. This doesn’t deminsh the quality, as Impervia comes with a commercial grade ceramic lacquer finish which is able to resist impacts and spillages normally associated in a kitchen environment.

The Wood Works fitted our Cobble Grey herringbone parquet under one of their exceptional kitchens which has pride of place in the window of their Mill Hill showroom in North London. This busy showroom sees a lot of footfall throughout the week from excited visitors designing and choosing their new kitchens, the parquet is still looking as good as new and has drawn a lot of attention from visitors.

Owing to the IXPE backing layer, Impervia can be installed directly to a suitably flat subfloor.  There is no need for additional underlay, so Impervia is a single-fit product which significantly reduces installation costs; it’s also been proven to reduce the transmission of impact sound by 21dB (Read our Acoustic Test Results Here). Impervia is an ideal choice for any kitchen or bathroom environment where a high quality floor is desired that is easy to maintain and spillage resistant finish. Don’t panic over spillages, an Impervia floor is to be enjoyed for many years.
