White Oiled Oak in a Courchevel Ski Chalet

Icewit Design approached us to provide a unique floor board for a luxury chalet in the beautiful French Alps. This floor had to be tough to deal with holiday maker traffic and be suitable for under floor heating.

Our sandwich construction engineered 340mm wide oak not only met the practical demands of this project but also the criteria of being a luxury board for this bespoke chalet.  The oak was finished with a three coatings of Environment Oil for a traditional feel and high quality, water-resistant protection.
