Kings College Cambridge

Project: Kings College Cambridge | Case Study

We were asked by the contractor to supply our select clean grade 220mm wide white lacquered board for the Kings College accommodation.

We were brought in because of extensive range of stock because the original supplier could not deliver on time. This is why it is crucial to choose the right supplier when having to complete projects on time.

Below are some images of the fitting of our high-quality flooring in the student accommodation block. The stairs are a particular feature using this select grade engineered wood floor.

We manufacture a wide range of engineered wood flooring and keep extensive stocks in our UK warehouse ready for immediate delivery. This is why we get prestigious projects like Kings College above and the Victoria and Albert Museum in Exeter which we did in 2011. Both these projects and many others like the design library in Kensington London and the Army museum use our wood floors. We also supplied the flooring for Girton College in Cambridge 6 years ago.

The image of the stairs shows the excellent fitting and matching banisters and image of the kitchen shows the clean grain and lines of the board and with 9 coats of Bona commercial fire resistant lacquer the smooth surface is hard wearing and durable even for student accommodation.
