Band Sawn, Cross Sawn or Hand Cut Engineered Oak Flooring means the surface has saw marks across the face of the floorboard perpendicular to the length. We have a complete range of band sawn surface finishes and our process means it looks like old hand cut oak flooring.

We can supply any quantity of our floor ranges, if we don’t have the right wood flooring for your requirements, as a UK based manufacturer we can make bespoke wood flooring for you, subject to minimum quantities of 500 m2.

Engineered Oak with these finishes has a surface texture that will withstand very heavy traffic as the surface hardens when the process is completed at the factory. We use a specialist Band saw to finish the surface and then the completed wooden flooring is finished on line with coloured oils, or in the case of the CH 780 with a raw timber finish. The image below shows the TW 781 band sawn wooden flooring.

All our engineered flooring is then finished with a UV cured oil to completely seal the surface and grain for full protection.

We have fumed as well as natural oiled finishes, and can create any colour finish you like subject to am minimum quantity of 500 m2 which is our smallest production run.

Cleaning is easy using the Blanchon soap oil which keeps the surface looking like new. The image below shows the band sawn skirting we can make 240mm high which matched the Chevron band sawn flooring.
