Grading of Oak Wood Flooring is a contentious issue because every manufacturer has its own system and there is no international Standard. Wood flooring needs to be seen to understand the grading of Oak rather than text. We have added images here of the different species of Oak and how the grading looks. The European oak width is 200mm wide and the White Oak is 190mm and
220mm wide. We hope this helps you understand the look of the grading in our engineered wood flooring.
These veneers of wood flooring are unfinished with no filler for the knots. For old buildings, the best is the EF grade European Oak if you want that old rustic timber floor look.
